It was the meaning to hire a car together with my friend so he could drop me off at work, but because our work schedule is too different we changed that. Now I go to work every day by minibus which works great for me.
This is how it works. When I walk out of my apartment I just walk down Main Road and within a minute a minibus will drive by. I let them stop and get in for a ride for 5 rand, which is around 54 euro cent at the moment. When they drive in the neighbor of where I have to be I let them stop by saying at which shop I want to get out. Then I walk to Hout Street in the city center where I work. This cost me no more than 15 minutes all together.
